Begin by listing the Work Policies from table 7.2 in the textbook. Then, pick one of these policies to research more thoroughly. At least 2 outside academic sources are required for this assignment (peer-reviewed journal articles are preferred). The book for this course can be used, but does not count as outside academic source. Be sure to explain the policy you chose and then provide relevant sociological information related to the policy in the United States as well as in other countries. An important piece of the assignment is to discuss the reasons that this policy would be considered a social problem. Finally, provide your thoughts as to possible changes to the policy you researched and the potential benefits and consequences related to those changes.
A title page is required. The paper should be typed using double-spacing and at least 12 point font. Be sure to cite all information used in APA format. Be sure to let me know if you have any questions.
