The purpose of the assignment is to provide a final report on the student’s first-hand experience with community engagement and service. The report, 2-4 pages*, (2 full page minimum) needs to include the following items. Service Verification Form must be submitted as well in order to receive credit for this assignment. If the service is completed with the same organization as the first half of hours, include in the paper: Reflections on the relationship developed between the student and the volunteer manager and/or other staff, volunteers, or clients at the service site. Observations on the operations of the organization, their structure and the services they provide. Personal reflections about the service experience in general.
